Lighthouse Friends and Family,
I just witnessed one of the most beautiful moments that I have seen from our President. In the midst of a painful and somber time in our nation, our President stood quietly in front of a church that had been burned in a riot and held up a bible. Without saying a word he spoke the greatest message. We all need the Holy Word of God. Even if you do not politically align with our president please hear his message. Hold to the word of God.

Be Wise - Be Harmless - Be Faithful

In Matthew Chapter 10, the Lord says
"Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves, be wise as serpents and as harmless as Doves."
I know that all may be overwhelming and maybe even scary in this moment. But God is still the Lord of all creation. Even in midst of a "global pandemic" if God is for us, then whom/what shall we fear. As the body of Christ we must remain vigilant and devoted to the Mission of the Gospel. So, we will continue. God is Faithful.
My friends and family be encouraged. God is Faithful. Whether or not your neighbors believe in the God that we serve should not deter our hope and trust in God's faithfulness.
